Something was stirring deep within that fiery atmosphere. Something
monstrous that roared an insatiable anger against the chains of the
elder gods which had bound it there for eternity. Unable to resist.
Utterly Powerless. Unable to resist. Utterly powerless to control his
movements. He was diving headlong towards that ravening chaos! That
age old intelligence that was Cthugha x2. Staring at the ball of flame
as it descends upon your bloodline, Hooded slaves of the flame undying
ascend upon your children whilst they're crying. Flame spreads across
the land burning atrocities where they stand! Everything touched by
flame will be born unto this world again! Flame creatures of Cthugha!
Follow my lead as we plant his seed to the eternal inferno. Risen from
the ashes of this universe like a phoenix oh so beautiful. The power
of the flame is too magical to be locked away! The final lacerations
to the infidel, all will burn in his grave to be born again. He will
bury you all in ash! Your lives will be gone in a flash!
(Mike and Casey part 1 03:15 - 03:42) Fear arises again,
Be aware of the approaching end.
Pray to the day for the day is nigh,
All cry to the sky for a little more time,
But I have other plans.
Burn through my skin.
Burn through my soul.
Staring at the ball of flame as it descends upon your bloodline, Hooded slaves of the flame undying ascend upon your children whilst they're crying.
Flame spreads across the land burning atrocities where they stand!
Everything touched by flame will be born unto this world again!
(Mike and Casey part 1 04:10 - 04:54)
Suffocate on the ashes of all your loved ones,
Breathe them in deep.
Boiling blood, evaporating,
Crusting on my bones.
Scorched earth.

Two impressive vocalists, variable and skilled guitarists and a tight and very powerful rhythm section. That plus the ability to write a song really leaves nothing left to desire here. mourner

Symphonic stuff in metal doesn’t make its way into my collection aside from a couple of early Cradle albums. The orch here though just ads to how huge this band sounds. It makes elements in the songs more immersive. There are plenty of breaks from orchestration where its in deathcore/slamming brutality mode. While not ignorant, the songs never play with time or get mathy making it accessible and memorable. Came out 2015? Impressed. Mitch Mitcherson
